(Beyond) Redemption

LAUNCH LA is proud to present (Beyond) Redemption an Open Call exhibition juried by Aandrea Stang. Aandrea is the Gallery Director/Assistant Professor leading the CSU Dominguez Hills University Art Gallery. She has developed and launched contemporary art programs for a variety of audiences at major cultural organizations including Hauser Wirth & Schimmel, Occidental College, and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA).

(Beyond) Redemption is a call to artists who have responded to their own challenges with resolution and fortitude; who have found redemption in or for their work. This exhibition brings together artists from across Southern California whose practices
reflect reclamation, renewal, or redefining qualities in concept, materials, method or subject. 39 original artworks were selected from 618 pieces submitted by 175 artists.
